Affiliate Marketing - Definitions and Review

Affiliate Marketing or Associate Programs have arisen out of a need for companies to get their products to as wide a market as possible. It is not widely known yet but I will let you in on a secret.

There is big money in them. There are some affiliates who are earning over $20000 per month every month.

If you are considering working from home then this business could be for you. I am involved in several programs myself, as well as my writing work and I am constantly expanding into new horizons. I haven't cracked the $20000 mark yet but I am working on it.

This business has a number of features which make it ideal for work at home mums, retirees or anyone who wants to replace their J.O.B - just over broke.

3) Easy learning curve, the more you learn, the more money you make. And this is where I come in. I want to recommend to you a couple of books that will take you all the way and make it profitable for you. You need to get off on the right foot.

The first one is by James Martell. The thing I like about it is it is by a guy who has done it. He takes you from start to finish and assumes no knowledge, so it is great for newbies, but don't let that fool you. These techniques and tricks are the same ones that you use when you are a pro. His genius is in communicating it. This is my favourite book on the subject. It is costs more than the others, but if it makes the difference between success and failure in this business, what's an extra $100?.

The other book that I recommend is by a fellow called Phil Wiley. It's called Minisite Profits. This one is less costly than the Martell book, but does not go into as much detail. It's up to you now. You can check out Phil's site at http://www.minisiteprofits.com
